If a Teaching is True
a message from Alloday

If a teaching is true, it is true for all people in all times, in all places. A Truth is
Universal Law, true in all times, everywhere. It is the same truth to Natives of
Africa, Australia, and Turtle Island, to the Europeans, the Orientals, everyone,
for it is Truth found in Nature, and Nature is the Mother of all. The wise ones
of the world, times past and times present, know this, and they honor and revere
the presence and the gifts of the Earth and Creator. More recently, Christ
Himself taught these same truths. Often His teachings are found corrupted
through biased interpretations, but the truths still lie beneath.
Nature-based religions
such as those of the Natives of the Americas and other continents, as well as
Druidism and Wicca from Europe, serve to maintain a connection with Earth and
Her people. They are not so much “religions” as ways of life. A true religion
must be a way of life, else how could one truly live one’s religion?
What is a religion,
anyway? Could we say that one’s religion is whatever he or she accepts as the
connection to a Higher Power? If individuals are connected, must they then not
live in a manner that keeps and strengthens that connection? If this is not a
cultural thing, then must it not be a personal thing? Each person must have the
freedom to choose, and to live the courage of his or her convictions.
In today’s world,
cultural connections have been greatly damaged (lost, in many instances). Many
people are trying to re-establish and strengthen those connections, alone, or in
company with others of like mind. They are facing the opposition of the world
even to persecution
and the loss of their God-given freedoms.
What is the answer?
Truth, of course. We know that the Way to mental/spiritual perfection is love.
Love is the Peaceful Way. It takes a strong mind to nurture love. We can learn
to live in peace, with tolerance for others. We can practice the Give-away
wherever we are.
And there is hope. We
are living in the beginning time of the Time of the Coyote…the Age of Aquarius.
This is the Age of Knowledge. All things will be revealed. Already, we can see
that it is harder for secrets to be hidden by those who need to hide from the
light of discovery. Mysteries such as the mapping of the human genome have been,
at least in part, made known. Dangerous times, for not many of the humans in
leadership positions are wise. In front of their ignorant noses they see only
the carrots of money, control, and power.
But we have our own
minds. We have Truth. We have Prayer. We are grateful for the good things in the
world, and we hold those visions in our thoughts and prayers. We have each
other. Join together with others who harmonize with you. Work and pray that
together we may become a united force for the progression of all that is wise
and good.
